Hey, i was wondering if you guys could help me build a system with the new Intel Pentium G3258 "K" or the regular i5, with gtx 750 ti.

1. Budget & Location

Hi, my budget for this system is around 500 to 700 US $. Location is united States

2. Aim
Web browsing, some games, and basic photo editing.

3. Monitors
I plan on using only a monitor as of right now, but later i'll go up to 2 or 3 monitors

4. Peripherals
I do need Windows 8 included in the price, unless you guys know how to get windows 7 for free :D .

The cases i prefer are the NZXT H230, Rosewill Line-M, or Corsar 230t

just add a hard drive and an os.

not a bad build but the mobo is necessary, a cheap like $50 one be fine. Also a gpu isn't really important for this build either, and if it is at newegg they have a r9 270 for only $155 which is a much better deal.

I run my own indie game company called Color Dragon Studios where we are currently making a 2d platformer game called Small Earth.

Other: Buy Windows from G2A.com ($25.00)

Don't get the pentium chip, if you OC it, it will do well in games. But as far as good optimized games and editing the locked i5 is much better. I know you listed the 750ti, but the R9 270 has better performance, and for photoshop cuda doesn't help.

It's also good to get this board for better OC'ing. The anniversary pentium is godly when you oc it.

ya i heard that people have reached near 5ghz but if they only want to do basic gaming and photo editing then they would have no need to oc.

you're right, I didn't see it was for web browsing and basic games.

I would have agreed though if it was for anything other than what he will be using it for. Anyway that cpu does kick some ass when it comes to oc.
