So im trying to decide if i should get a ssd and a hdd or just get a sshd and be done with it

laptop or desktop and what size drive you looking at?

Main Rig: CPU: 3570k Mobo: ga-z77x-ud5h-wb :RAM: 8gb kingson ddr3 1600 :gpu crossfire amd 290's Case: zalman z9 plus Cooler: h80i p/p SSD: nutron 120gb HDD: 2tb wd green 4tb seagate desktop

Desktop and 1TB this will be for everything like games and the os

you would have faster preformance if you could get a 60gb ssd and the 1tb use the 60gb as a cash drive intel smart responce (assuming ur mobo can suport it)

that would be my sugestion or if you had the cash run a 120gb ssd partition 60gb off as a boot and 60gb as a cash for the 1tb

 

 

eddit: the sdhd only have 8gb of flash which is to small for major preformance increses while a 64gb ssd cash would be much more effective
