Ultrabook for around $1000

Sulryn

So I'm in the market for a new ultrabook. I've been looking around and like the Dell XPS 13 and Lenovos ultrabooks.

Does anyone have any suggestion on ultrabooks that I should consider?

Try and keep it around 1k please, max of like $1300.

There is an excellent Kirabook deal currently (link) - been looking myself!!

It's a very good laptop with 256GB SSD, 8GB RAM, 2560x1440 IPS display and 6-7 hours under light use. Most others for $900 come with 128GB SSD and probably 4GB RAM (for a new laptop)

I would certainly recommend it and I found no better deal

Would you trust getting it off of ebay though? That is a huge price change. It just looks kinda fishy to me.

Well, that's a known seller with 45000 feedback points and 99.5% positive feedback which is ok

It's not fishy - it's the 4th of July deals. There should be more

Acer have 20% off for $1100+ laptops too, but I've found no good options there

I really like the kira from just looking at it now. The only thing is I won't be able to get it for another week.

Wonder how long they will have it for sale.

I don't think it will be for much longer.. there might be more deals in a week, but this one is a good. I almost got a refurbished Acer S7-392 for $850 with 128GB SSD and I thought it was pretty good and then that one came

Do you only look at dealfisher for deals on stuff?

Or do you only use ebay or other website too?

I use a Lenovo. What do you use on a laptop? Is this for college or home? Word, Excel, Steam, Adobe Stuff? Are you often trying to make space on a hard drive? Does windows not boot fast enough? I buildand buy computers for my friends and its best if you spit most of what you do.
