The following link has all the parts I'm planning on ordering, which will be mainly used for photo editing in LR5, and at a later date some light gaming when i can afford a GPU. http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/bTx7pg.

My questions are....

All the parts look compatible, but as this is my first build I'm unsure and my biggest worry is the Motherboard supports the CPU?

I cant make out if the PSU come with all the right leads to connect to the MB/SSD/HD and optical drive and at a later date the GPU.? Or do i need to order some cables like SATA III and others i dont know about?

As this is my first build i dont have any spares lying around, so if I'm short on a cable/connection ill need to order from the web or visit my local maplins which appears limited on connection and over priced.

Questions may seem trivial I'm sure but i cant afford to get this wrong, if i do ill be kicking myself that i didn't buy a pre-built system.

Note: i have the case already

If you get a 500w you will be safe to upgrade even to a GTX 780, something like this will do the trick: http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00DZ6R9GE/?tag=pcp0f-21

EVGA, XFX, and Fractal Design have decent and cheap PSUs that you can rely on.

The Sata power cables come with the PSU and you don't need more, they bring enough. The Sata data cables come with the motherboard, but I think this model only comes with 2, s o you will want a third one, no biggie even on a local store they are cheap, all sata cables are the same, there is not difference between Sata I, II and III on the cables.

Thx for the quick reply ForsakenLive, i was thinking of going for a 500W PSU just for future upgrades. I like the look of the PSU you have linked me, very tempting indeed. However from previous posts and reading reviews etc. I have been swaying towards modular or semi modular that is why i picked the corsair. So the 500W CX corsair should do the job.

Also i have ordered 2 x sata cables on your advice to be sure im up and running when its all delivered
