So FML

So i've been trying to get to my grandparents for about a year now so i could crash and reinstall windows and clean up all the shit on my grandpa's computer. I know I know it took me forever but i have reasonings(Active Duty Coast Guard, Preggers wife, and i lived 4 states away at the time). But last weekend I finally went up for a visit and got it all done and all the programs i wanted on there for next time i visited for an easy check up well last night i got a voicemail from my grandpa that i blew up his computer lol. so i called back today thinking he deleted something he wasnt supposed to or so on well i come to find out they're house had a power surge and fried a good amount of their electronics(TV's, cable boxes, modem) and lastly his computer. they have no home owners insurance and i felt soooo bad yet kinda frustrated since i spent a good chunk of my day fixing the old one.

I'd even go with a Sempron.  It's not like he needs a lot of power, so something cheap would be good.  This one will fit his needs just fine.

I'd also go with 2GB of RAM instead of 4GB, because 4 seems a little overkill for what he's doing.

Last thing I swear. Why a 1TB Hard Drive? Sounds to me like he could get away with less than 500GB.
