I know that it is a stretch but do you guys think that the sapphire r9 270 with fx 6300 and 8gb ram would work on an uncertified 400 watt psu. This would only be temporary for about 2 weeks, but i just need to know if it would run at least. Thanks for the help.

you don't want to replace the whole PC when the PSU blows

Budget? Uses? Currency? Location? Operating System? Peripherals? Monitor? Use PCPartPicker wherever possible.

I wouldn't even try it... but that's just me! I don't like to expose my sweet hardware to uncertified PSUs.

well the verdict is out

 

I will suggest you rather wait out without any PSU until you get something decent

Alright it kind of sucks to have to wait, but i would rather wait than kill my system. Thanks everyone.
