Hello Everyone,

I am currently using a Samsung S23A350H (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001483) for my main display and a Samsung T220 (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824001273) as a secondary.  I plan on upgrading both of the monitors to the ASUS PB278Q (Seems pretty popular around here.)  Been on edge about getting the PB287Q but realized I would not be able to run games at a decent frame-rate or quality.

Not comparing the two ASUS's, will I see an improvement in visuals upgrading from the Samsung's?  Tried finding the monitors in stores to see them but did not have them on display.  Microcenter had it, but not on display.

Has the PWM back light been an issue for anyone?

Thanks for the help.

The improvement would be quite obvious. This is the case with pretty much any decent IPS panel compared to a TN.

Is the Samsung S23A350H a TN panel?  Looked around but could not find a definite answer.

Yes, it is. You can be pretty sure to not find any IPS panels labeled with 2ms response time even if the spec is practically bull.
