Recovering failed Intel RST raid0 after bsod

Hi Guys,

my rig just blue screened after an unstable overclock. My 2x3TB mixed Raid 0 (~5TB) / Raid1 (~280GB) powered by Intel RST dropped one of the disks out of the raid.

One of the disk was marked as "Non-Member Disk" and the Raid0 was marked as failed.

1. Reset your HDs to "Non-Member Disk" in the RST Bios Utility, your data won't be lost, it just deletes the metadata of the array.

2. Make a new array with the same seetings as your old one. It is off paramount importance that you do this in the exact same order as before, or your recovery might take hours and days on end.

3. Install TestDisk ( http://www.cgsecurity.org ). Run it according to the steps discribed on the website's wiki.

4. Write the old partition, the tool found, to your "new" raid0, then reboot like the tool asks you too.

5. Done.

If the raid0 was your bootdrive, follow the tutorial where i got the info from:
