Looking for a new headset...$250

Hey guys,

I'm looking to buy a new gaming headset with a max price of $250, give or take a few dollars. I play all different kinds of games from FPS to RTS, and don't really have any experience in the audio department. So, when it comes to buying headphones I'm lost, and I was wondering if you guys have any recommendations.

I prefer closed headphones and I don't mind sweaty ears, but I'm not totally set on closed headphones, so I'm willing to try open eared ones. I prefer if it didn't have a mic, but I don't mind if it does. I'm not going to use these for music listening, so don't worry about anything but the gaming experience.

Thanks so much for your input.

Corsair Vengeance 2100 has pretty good sound, it's pretty comfortable and it's wireless.

Personally I'd get the Steelseries 9H. They're about 170$ on Amazon right now and they're awesome from what I've seen!

Custom One Pro or V-moda crossfade LP with that mic that comes for them. Or just get Kingston HyperX Cloud it's good enough as a headset and perfect value.

AFAIK no mainstream headset matches Kingston HyperX Cloud in sound quality and going by value Steelseries 9H is just bad.
