So i need some help with parts for a new gaming pc.

My budget is $1200 but $1500 would also work. I live in the US so the currency is $US.

The rig will be used to do video editing and gaming. The games i play are battlefield 4 crysis 3 far cry 3.

I do want to have a gsync monitor.

All peripherals, monitors, and windows 8.1 has to be included in the budget.

This will be the first pc that I built because i had a ibuypower laptop that i used to game on but i had to give it to my brother.

Thanks in advance :D

You can't afford a G-Sync monitor at your price range, btw. Unless you want to cheap out on other stuff (don't).

The only monitor that supports G-sync atm is $270.

The G-Sync modding kit is $208 with shipping.

Go for a cheaper 1080p monitor. Don't cheap out on other parts for G-Sync.

Well there are some pretty nice monitors out there with 60 Hz but my main tip is don't go for a gamer one where they more often than not have "forgotten" about the all around use to make it cheaper meaning that the picture will look worse when watching movies etc.
