Best 2560x1440 monitor for a decent/cheap price?

Hey guys, I'm looking to upgrade my 1920x1080 monitor to a 2560x1440 one, but I need some help on which one to get for a decent price, the all seem to be quite expensive.

I don't mind it being a TN panel, but IPS would be good, needs a vesa mount as I like to wall mount my monitors.

I live in the uk, but I guess good value is pretty much universal over different countries?!

Cheers!

i5 4440 (upgrade impending), ASUS Maximus VI Hero, Corsair vengance 8gb 1600mhz, GTX 770, samsung 840 evo 120GB, 1tb WD Black, Corsair RM650, H100i, Corsair Air 540.

There's honestly no reason to go past 1080p for a while longer, unless you know your graphics card can push it.

424 pounds, this is probably the cheapest monitor that suits your needs.

what do you mean there is no reason to go past 1080p, gaming would look way nicer, my gtx 770 should be able to handle most games too.

Ships for free to anywhere in the world. I personally have one and know that quite a few people here have one as well. Amazing monitor at an amazing price.

When you open that link from the UK it states in red writing "Does not ship to the UK".

@OP - not the prettiest, but for £240 it's a 1440p IPS monitor with an LG panel (they make good panels):

Alternatively, check out Dell's u2713hm - that's another outstanding 1440p monitor for about £350 at Aria.

The Asus PB278Q is a great option with really great color due to the PLS panel used on it and a very erganomic stand as well.
