I just bought about 6 games from the Steam Summer Sale.  I tried to install the last one and it says there wasn't enough room.  I check, and I only have 5gb left on my 500gb hard drive.  I delete some videos I had uncompressed from my camera and some iso files of ubuntu and I got it up to around 38gb of free space.  The question is, should I get a second 500gb or my 1TB hard drive, or an SSD?  I really don't want to spend crazy amounts of money though.

Would be kinda hard to migrate your existing 400+ GB of data to an SSD (unless you're willing to spend like $500).

Just go with another 500 GB or 1TB at 7200 RPM.

Not sure if a SSHD would be a good alternative as well.

yeah, I was looking into an sshd....I think I might just get an second hard drive and get a 1tb one just to be safe.

Given it's what $5-10 more to go from a 500GB Barracuda to a 1TB he should probably just go for 1 TB drive

I have no idea but my guess is this.  I have a ton of music.  Call of Duty Ghosts and Black Ops 2 which are way too big of files.  BF3 and BF4, Crysis 2 and 3, and a ton of other games, and I have like two movies.  I'm probably got to hold off on the game buying.
