I want to overclock a4 3300 with stock cooler, is there anybody who have done it?? can you give me clockspeed and vcore vtg to start with??? I am new to overclocking so can you guide me  when to stop increasing clock???  Is there any tool for autooverclocking just like asus 5way???I have 2 gb 1333MHz ram to   can I overclock it too???

I kmow it will not give a substantial prformance boost, but little is always better than nothing.

Get a aftermarket cooler. I never heard of the overclock capabilities of that cpu.

as it's not a K series processor in the AMD family, I don't believe that chip is capable of overclocking. If it can maybe by about 200mhz or so.

you will need to look in the bios to see if your board can overclock the base clock and adjust the voltage. if you can then set the voltage manually and set your multiplier to the maximum it will go to. then increase the base clock by 5mhz at a time. the maximum you will be able to go to will probably be 150mhz on the base clock. each 1mhz you go up on your base clock will be 1% higher overclock, so on the stock cooler you will probably get to 120mhz which would be 3ghz.

I tried auto clock from AMD overdrive software  ,it suggested 4000mhz with 1.38v      I modified these values in bios       cpu id ,aid64 shows 3990 mhz clock   but when I use benchmark it does not show any performance increase. i have used novabench and passmark benchmark tools but both values are same  before and after changing clock freq and vcore.

solved.  i wasn't modifiing that 100mhz value  but changed x25 to x40...I tried 121 mhz and its working

just 1 question  when do i stop increasing vcore value??  and there are several other voltages ,am i supposed to modify them to??

basically you dont want your cpu to go over 62c under full load. run prime 95 or aid64 for 30mins or so with a temperature monitoring program open.
