Hi !!!

First of all let me warn you that my english is not that good so if i write something in the wrong other or with some error don't mind it.

Now I have a pc with the following specs:

  • i5-4670k
  • maximus vi gene
  • gtx 760
  • 8 Gb Corsair vengeance ram
  • WD Caviar blue 1 Tb
  • 120 GB Samsung evo ssd
  • Corsair cx 600
  • Coolermaster cm storm scout 2 advanced

I planning to put this hardware into a desk and watercool my gpu and my cpu. This are some pictures of my plans (I used skecth up to make the model):

The holes in the back are for 120mm fans (most likely Corsair's AF 120) that will bring the air in and the Radiator on the left that will drag the air out.

The cables will be hidden in the little compartement under all of the other componentes.

The watercooling parts that I plan to use are:

  • Alphacool NexXxoS XT45 Full Copper 360 mm
  • Alphacool VPP655 - G1/4 IG incl. Attachment (Acetal ersion)
  • Alphacool Cape Corp Cooplex Pro 25 LT
  • Ek Supremacy
  • Ek FC670 GTX DCII - Acetal+Mickel
  • PETG clear tubing
  • primochill ghost compression fittings

As his is my first watercooling build I would like to know your opinion about the parts that I choose and if the air flow on the desk is good or if it needs some changes.

I want to iluminate my system too, but i don't know if should go with normal lighting (that would most likely be red) or if should go with UV lighting (blue or green). In case of the normal light i'm leaning to the mayhems aurora 2 tharis red, is that a good coolant?

In case of the UV lights if i use mayhems aurora coolant + UV dye would it give the auroras effect and react to the UV light?

Any other opinion is also appreciated.

Thanks!!

I really like this, but why slap a measly 760 into it? Everything else is great, but a 760 for what your doing? :( sadface

Probably not worth watercooling the GPU if you're already planning to upgrade...

You could utilize the space more efficiently. Like add a small drawer into the desk <-- although you got those 3/4 on the rightside.

Desk PC's are very risky & hard to work around if not designed and thought of correctly.

The gpu upgrade will be most likely in one and a half year it's still not worth the waterclock?

The tree divisions on the right are already planned to be drawers. Should put another one and where?

I haven't had any temperature-related performance issues on my own 760, even when I overclocked it all the way playing Crysis 2 at maxed settings.  So there's that.
