so recently i bought a new router, and i set it up and thought it was working, and because it was on the other side of the house, i haven't noticed till now, but recently i noticed that i can connect to it with 5ghz and 2.4ghz, but i cant get internet, like from my tests i haven't been able to use the internet of facebook or whatever. my setup goes from modem to router #1, which goes to PC #1, router #3, printer and router #2. so router number #2 is the one that doesn't work. the Ethernet doesn't work nor does the wireless, i have tried doing the set up and what not but i just don't know how to fix it. any ideas. it is a Asus RT-N65U .

thanks in advance for any help.

You'll want to start with a factory reset to start with, obviously. That fixes a surprising amount of issues.

I'd try using it as the primary router temporarily, and doing a full factory reset on it again if it doesn't function in any configuration. Assuming you can get it stable without being a secondary router, then there's either a problem with how you've configured the home network or a firmware issue. If you feel like tinkering, 3rd party firmwares are out there to try.

If none of this works, RMA if you can, because there's nothing else you can really do for it.

ok, so i reset it, and plugged it into my pc replacing router #3, and the ethernet is working i have internet on my pc, but on my phone the wireless doesn't seem to be working, which is the sole reason for buying it. any ideas why it might not be working wirelessly..?

EDIT: nevermind it seems to be working... im gonna test it where it was originaly...
