Hello all,

i have an old 1tb HDD from an old laptop which is full of movies, music, games, movies etc.

i am putting this hdd in my new laptop, which will also have an SSD as boot drive,

my question is can i play games on the old HDD without formatting it and all? or should i have to copy it over to external format it, and reinstall it?

because i had an 750gb hard drive in this new laptop, and an ssd as boot drive, this worked perfectly, but want to expand and want all the files i have on this one on my new laptop.

is this possible without formatting?

i really want it to work like this really.

thanks,

You can still use it....although, I really would reformat it just to get rid of all the crap thats built up on it.
