So I was looking at my PC and my RAM in the first slot is really close to the copper heatpipes of my CPU cooler which means I can't go for the RAM I wanted. Since right now I have miss match RAM and I was gonna buy a matching stick for the bigger memory. but since the Heatsink on it stands up way too high that won't work. I did how ever find a lowprofile version of the same stick but it's clocked at 1600mhz and the voltage is only 1.35 where as the one I have in my PC now is clocked at 1855mhz with a voltage of 1.55 (which I turned down to 1.49v) would I still be able to use the low profile memory in the system or would raising the voltage and speed of it kill it?

right now the one I plan on replacing is a 2gb G.SKILL ECO oc'd to 1866mhz and over volted from 1.35v to 1.49v but it's a full size stick

the one I am trying to match is a 4gb stick of Crucial Ballistix 1866mhz 1.55v

should I buy the lowprofile stick or look for a matching 8gb lowprofile set?
