sabertooth z97 and 4790k overclocking, need help

hi i just recently bought my new computer and i am trying to overclock it. i have a 4790k and a sabertooth z97 mark 1 with a h100i.

i cant seem to be able to change the voltage, it says "can only be enabled when the onboard OV_CPU jumper is switched on" but i cant find that option anywhere.

It means a physical switch on your motherboard.

If there's another pin, just pull the white cap off and move it to cover the other one and the middle one.

It will either be a switch that slides one way or another, or the cap will pull off etc you need to just experiment gently to find out which, not all jumpers operate in the exact same way because sometimes it's a switch rather than just a pair of pins.

just did it, i did have to pull it off and move it over, thanks anyway now i can go back to overclocking :D

No, swapping that jumper over is supposed to enable it, are you sure it's connected and pushed down properly?

yes defiantly is on properly, it only allowed me to do extreme over voltage which gives my a warning message saying i need LN2.

You need someone who knows how to clock specifically on that board, and not me, I find it odd that there's a jumper to enable voltage control at all.

Perhaps look in the board's manual for clarification on when that swtich is to be used.
