Hey guys, recently did a nice switch up of my rig of late and went for something a little on the rebellious side.

Anyways, tonight i took my first real plunge with CPu overclocking and i think i got a result quite interesting?

Usually FX8320's are recommended by those on a budget looking for a good CPu with enough threads behind it to really give it a recommendation in the first place....and so far the CPu is meeting all the wants i see.

Having also picked up a few new bits and bobs as well (New 144hz Monitor and such) i thought, what would come O/Cing be able to bring in terms of Perf. improvements?

I managed to get up to about 4.7Ghz Stable on 1.387v on Auto OC and settled for 4.5Ghz with the same Volt setting.

So am i doing it sorta right? and did i get a fairly good chip?

Idle it rests at 11degrees on my Hyper Evo 212...and maybe gets no hotter then 52degrees under load (4.5Ghz).

Sound good?

Can i have a small medal? :P

Well if 4.7 and 4.5 are stable on same voltage you're not doing your CPU any favors running at the lower frequency as vcore is still the same. But you got a good chip, my friend has a 8350 that doesn't do 4.3GHz stable at 1.425V.

you defenetly have a golden chip, pump 1.4v into it and see how far you can get it stable!
