? Are you asking if Linus would know if you bought from newegg or Tigerdirect? is that what you are asking? If that is what you are asking I think he would understand that some times its hard to wait for parts. If you meant would he know if the parts would take a couple of weeks to come back into stock, It wouldn't hurt to ask him if you can. He might know.

Two unfortunate things about NCIX.

1. They don't work weekends so can't get support, and they don't process stuff.

2. After they process stuff, it takes a weird and untold amount of time for it to ship.

TigerDirect usually ships within a couple of days. Often arriving two days later.

NCIX is takes care of these types of things fairly quickly (my cooler was back ordered once, they took care of it within a week)... you shouldn't have to wait too long. With that said NCIX would probably be the ones you need to contact, not Linus.

whoa there sparky. That might be true but nothing hurts to ask in this world. He wanted to know if Linus knew or not. He PMed Linus so he might get an answer or Linus might tell him to talk to NCIX but either way he will be pointed in the right Direction. No reason to get up in someones face because it wasn't the route you would of taken.

I have contacted ncix they said they don't know anything and its been 2 weeks

Eh? I was just pointing him to the right place instead of him wasting his time here. Or maybe more importantly wasting other people's time too (Linus gets a shitton of private messages every day and can't possibly respond to every one, especially when they aren't something he should care about).
