High temperatures

I'm trying to keep my 4930K cooled using a corsair H110 cooler. However my average temperatures at idle are around 34 degrees celsius while the highest peaked at 42. I first tried to re install my top fans so that air enter through the front and exist the back and top. The temperature didn't even budge a bit and stayed in the same range, maybe a bit higher. I used thermal paste on the CPU like I'm suppose to and nothing is blocking the vents. Is there something else I can do to keep it cool?

Does this chip normally run this hot? I won't even try to overclock unless I can keep it cooler.

42 is cool for a cpu anything under 80c is fine so go push that cpu to its limits. BTW you wont get in cooler with out a bigger loop or liquid nitrogen or dry ice.

Ok cool, I was being told by a co-worker that it wasn't normal to have those temps and it shouldn't be that high no matter what.

It's abnormally low actually, very good temps for the system.

Thanks for clearing that up. I will go to work tomorrow and let them know that they are crazy.
