new amd gen gpus

so what should I expect from amd new gpus?? I want to go 4k or eyefinity and i know for a fact amd is better at higher resolutions. what do you guys think amd's new gen will bring up? name?

For 4k you'll have to go 280x tier and up . I expect it to be called something like r9 380x or something like that

The name will be something stupid, based on their recent naming scheme. Maybe they'll call them the R1 series because why the f*ck not? 

 

I'd expect around 6GB VRAM on the high end cards, hopefully with a nice jump in performance with a cooler that actually works. Can't say for sure though.

yeah that name is kind of stupid and what the fuck is the point of the X? xtra performance? its around 7% more... not worth it. also, i am expecting that much (or possibly 8) on 512 bit bus (i hope for more too) with over 3.5k stream processors on the flagship card..

Probably 6gb Vram, maybe something retared like 768bit memory interface, (i hope) lower powerconsumption and a decent cooler that keeps the card silent and not throtteling

i think 4GB of vram can handle 4K (so no worries there)

 

the bottleneck comes with the power (on a single card)

 

we need more gaming power (and next gen will be focus on that)

 

 

 

and not just AMD (also nvidia is even weaker on that)

 

so... all will start when the red team launch the Rx 300 cards

 

the green team will not move a finger until we move first (as always)

 

is almost sad that green fanboys depend of AMD to tell the true

 

but is what to the green side it suits them (or they can have a new R9 295x2 surprise)

 

 

 

i think they already have the 800 series prepare for a long time back to tell the true (but they just look at us)

Anybody like to take a guess as to when this will come about? I'm planning a new build between now and Christmas whenever I have the cash, and atm have settled on an R9 290. If the new gen cards come out before Christmas and aren't too much more expensive then I'll get one of them instead.
