I'm more fond of the Gameboy Color (the lack of a 'u' bugs me) to be honest. Memories of having to use a weird clip light for it on long car journeys to France.

The color's screen can't be modded with a backlight. You can only add an illuminating panel to the front, which doesn't look as good. With the GBA kits you get an entire new screen.

The screens are said to be not quite as good as the ones in the AGS-101 GBA SP systems. However, they will be better than the original GBA's screen and the the one of the regular AGS-001 GBA SP. I'm sure there are a few reviews on YouTube.
