Which combined video card should i buy?

AlbertoRP

Hello linustechtips.

I'm here wondering which video card could i buy with my current hardware.

I have a:

Gigabyte G1.Sniper.B5

with a
Gigabyte GTX GeForce 650TI OC 2GB DDR5

and the motherboard brings the opportunity to add a second video card.

What video card will work very well with the "GTX GeForce 650TI OC 2GB DDR5" or nothing will improve if i add a second video card?

Any recommendations?

PD: The GTX GeForce 650TI OC 2GB DDR5 Dosen't have SLI.

2 cards that aren't the same will be useless as they don't work together unless you use one for a physx card

just buy a brand new card and use the 650 ti for a physx card or get rid of it

The card doesn't support SLI and the motherboard doesn't support SLI since it's second slot is only x4 and need to be x8 for SLI. 2 strikes. New card is the option.

i3-4170, H81 board, 8GB DDR3, Crucial M4, GTX 770, Xigmatek Vangaurd Case, Creative Titanium X-fi, Razer Carcharias, 500w PSU, 24" VA panel and a 42" IPS. Thinking about getting a plant.

Get a new card (like a 770) and use the 650ti for physx. Dual 650ti without sli won't do anything for you.

Don't ask to ask, just ask... please 🤨
