I use 3DS Max for my 3D work, I am not 100% sure if you can make a model out of it, but I wouldn't see why not. 3DS Max is normally a $3,000 program but you can sign up for a student license which is good for 3 years. And as for having the model look good, that is to do with how much effort you put into it.

i used 3ds max to make a tank for my history project, i didnt found it very difficult ... maybe i will use it.

Others told me to use google sketch but the quality is poor

my other option is CAD but it will be very difficult, right?

The quality is fine.. You will end up with roughly the same amount of triangles in the end and 3d printing in not very accurate.. Unless you are using a powder or resin printer

so what programme should i end up with?

I'd give 3DS Max a go if you already know how to use it,

Try to make it out of multiple parts though as the print beds on most 3d printers are not that big. Can't help you with a printer though. Planning to buy one, but waiting for prices to drop more.

I cannot be held responsible for any bad advice given.

I've no idea why the world is afraid of 3D-printed guns when clearly 3D-printed crossbows would be more practical for now.

My rig: The StealthRay. Plans for a newer, better version of its mufflers are already being made.

I wouldn't know where to begin, honestly I'd turn to google find a company that will 3D print things then send them my file.

I wouldn't imagine so, the trial  only limits you for the days you can use it.

I believe Ponoko is one of those companies that does 3d-printing, if that helps.

but where Ponoko ships? Is  there a map or a list so i can see if my country is available?

thanks

s

Website says 3d-prints ship worldwide from USA. Probably not cheap. Alternatively, you could check if there's a fablab near you. I had the MDF panels for my pc laser cut at my local FabLab, but they also have 3d printers there.

That's a map of some fablabs around the world.
