Hey Guys,

I'm experiencing a slight squeeking sound (it isn't a mouse) that seems to be coming from my OCZ Tech ZS Series 550w PSU and I was wondering if it is anything to be worried about. It seems to be the fan as I placed my ear near it and did get a little louder.

I do have a pair of Fractal 140mm on the side which I could disconnect and see if it makes any difference but I am almost confident that it is the PSU.

EDIT: Just had another quick look and it looks to me that it is just a run of the mill 140mm case fan so in theory I could just replace the fan with no issues, also look to be the same connector as well. If I'm wrong please say something.

I dont know if you're wrong. Can PSU get Coil Whines? or is it just GPU?

They can but this isn't a whine, I've managed to get a close up of the connector for that fan but it looks like it is only a 2 pin.

If I got a replacement fan that was 3 pin would it work?
