Planning on making a computer with a budget of around ~$1000 CDN (It can be slightly over/under.). Mainly going to be used for gaming, however it's going to be under heavy load on Saturdays+Sundays due to testing and working with multiple VMWares.

I'm giving my current computer to my brother. I'm planning on taking the Video Card+PSU out of this computer, and put them into my new build. I currently have an Nvidia Geforce GTX 660 TI and a CX600M power supply.

I also have a 500W power supply from a few months ago which I'm planning to put into my current computer. All I'm looking for now is a video card to put into this computer. My brother mainly plays Minecraft and League of Legends, so something relatively cheap that can run League with 60~ fps would be awesome.

This is what I have so far. http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/ghKQf7. Still unsure of which cooling option and motherboard to get as I have no knowledge of it. Chose the 16gb of ram and the i5-4670k over the i5-3570k due to the multiple VMWares I'm going to be running on it during weekends. Just need some advice for which motherboard and cooling option to get, and which Graphics Card to buy to put into my current computer which I'm giving to my brother.

I'll try formatting and adding more information in a bit, gettin really hungry at the moment. Thanks.

If you're running multiple vm's you might want to consider a 4770k/4790k.

As for cooling, stock is good if you're not overclocking, but its noisy. So, Cooler Master Hyper 212 if its too noisy or you plan to oc.

Any z87/z97 board from: AsRock, Gigabyte, MSI, or Asus will work just fine.

AMD r7 260x should be all he needs.

Save $75 by buying Windows at G2A. Consider an i7 for VMWare. Also, look at getting an SSD.

Alright,so this is the final build I'm looking at http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/VgF9t6 . Slightly over budget, but I can save money for a bit longer for it. Also @aricleather , how does the buying windows at G2A work? Never bought anyone from that website before.

There are plenty of good z87/97 board that are under $150, so unless theres a particular feature on that board that you really need I'd look at something a bit cheaper...like

MSI z87-G45 Gaming

Asus Z87-Plus

*the above come in either z87 or z97 configs. The difference being that z97 officially supports devils canyon (4790k--virtually the same as the 4770k), should support broadwell (within 5% performance of Haswell), and supports M.2 (a faster SSD connection, although it really doesn't matter that much).
