Hello Linus groupies,

I was looking around for a sleek/classy case such as the inwin s-frame, 904 or corsair 760t for a custom build i would like to do. I am thinking ATX midsize but not totally set in stone.

custom water cooling capability is important. price isn't set either because a case will last a long time compared to hardware. (preferred $200 or less)

The problem with the inwin cases is either bad build quality or limited edition. (if someone could tell me how to get one that would be awesome!)

the problem with the corsair 760t is that in my opinion the front of the case is ugly. (personal preference, please don't rage)

opinions would be greatly appreciated!

Travis

Define R4 if you want a classic tower look. and for a clean looking with a little pizzazz i would go with the h440 by nzxt

Maybe something from Lian Li? Brushed aluminum, so it stains but it looks so nice. I do like the H440 though. Let me think for a bit.

And then there's this beast: the Lian-Li PC-2120X for - wait for it -  a small payment of $475.99 to $484.98. Since its has rollers, you can put some rims on it.

he said he wanted classy! And as an owner of a lian li case, it is VERY classy, albeit it is probably a third hand case that I picked up at goodwill for $10, but that's beside the point. And the one with rollers already has chrome rims so unless you are thinking spinners, you're set! :D

Rims. The best way to ruin anything classy. :P

i think from when i was looking into cases a lot for my pc i came to the conclusion that for me the nzxt switch 810 was the best option, ticking ever box that i had with great radiator and water-cooling support for the future and at the moment great air cooling as well as being able to fin in any size motherboard i want great cable management and my main thing a window, one without perforation holes with fan mounts or anything no fancy shapes just a window to see my hardware through as well as having a subtle look whilst still looking a bit different to a $20 generic case. i also managed to get it at a steal, i bought it from a reviewer so mint condition nothing damaged and for $100, i would recommend trying to buy the special edition matte black or as i did gunmetal grey or go with white because the normal black is gloss and is a massive finger print magnet. and a brand new case is arpund $150-$200 depending on where you get it
