Difference in Temps

Since it's really hard to get a front rad and pump/reservoir in the H440, I'm thinking about not putting in a front rad. What would be the difference in temps between have a 30mm thick 240 in the front and a 45mm thick 360 in the top and just having the 360 in the top? Also, would you run a single 360 with 2 290Xs and a 3770K?

Thanks.

I would run atleast 1 360 rad = one 140/120/240 mm rad too.

I think the general rule of thumb is a bit less than 240mm for each component ideally. I would say it will be enough, but if you can, try to fit a 120mm or something somewhere in the case.

I have a 120mm rad I could try putting in, would that really make much of a difference?

A single 120mm is enough to cool a CPU on its own, it should help a fair bit.

I'll try it or just get that 240 in somewhere :/

Thanks!

If you can force the 240mm in, that would be best, but maybe putting the 120mm in the rear fan spot would fit without cramping things.

The main problem is the lack of bays for the reserv...I own one H440 and I've been thinking how I'm going to watercool it too.

Honestly, one top rad won't be enough for cpu and 2 gpu.

Yeah, I'm still trying to get it in, the only problem is the damn tube res. It just won't fit. Maybe I'll get a smaller one.

Yeah, fitting the tube res is so much of a hassle. I can't figure out how to get it in.

take a pic of everything in, it may be best to connect the rads to eachother with fittings, rather than tubing.   That may make doing the rest of everything easier

In the bottom part of the case, right behind the rad you should be able to do something...will cut a bit of the airflow but works.

Imma just yolo mount a 480 and a 360 or 2 to the outside of the case case like boss. I'll update with how it turns out.

Could you mount the res to the radiator if you use a UN mount or something?

I don't have a H440 but I'm sure you can just hot glue it somewhere, I'd think the H440 can support it somewhere (maybe beside the PSU?) unofficially. The way your loop will go might need a bit more careful planning but hey if it works, it works. P.S. Don't go overkill on the hot glue so it's easy to remove, only a little bit to hold it in place would be best (maybe buy some foam hot glue it onto the foam hotglue the foam onto some cardboard (so it's not a bitch to remove foam of your case if it tears) or something and then the cardboard onto the case).
