A few weeks ago i got a virus on my PC that made it run so slow i couldn't doing anything on it.

I tried restores but it didn't work.

so i went online and downloaded a windows 7 home premium service pack 1 iso, so that i could re-install windows.

I am using a laptop so i didn't know what the licence key was, so I used a program called magic jellybean key finder to find the product ID.

Once i re-installed windows and used the key is seemed to work fine, until I went into my computer and it said that i had "15 days to activate windows now".

I don't want to buy a new product key and i don't really have the time to waste contacting Microsoft.

any ideas would help?

Just click contact Microsoft, call the toll free number and active by phone. Presuming your key is actually valid. If you format your computer a lot these things happen as there's a limited amount of times you can activate a key the normal way.

It should be valid,thank you.

TBH you'll probably end up wasting more time by trying to find some work around solution - just saying. Other solutions would be buy another copy of Windows 7 (which obviously you don't want to do) or find a key generator or something somewhere (wouldn't recommend as it is illegal and may not work anyway, TBH I don't even know if one exists)... Microsoft is probably the only legitimate solution. Explain your situation and I'm sure they can help.
