Headphones please help

Go to solution Solved by Guest Kloaked,

Get the Sennheiser's with a modmic.

So...I am looking for a new headphones with Modmic or a headset.

Few of them caught my eye, which are following:

Corsair vengeance 1500, http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-1500-dolby-7-1-usb-gaming-headset-v2

Corsair Vengeance 2100, http://www.corsair.com/en/vengeance-2100-dolby-7-1-wireless-gaming-headset

Steelseries Siberia v2, http://steelseries.com/products/audio/steelseries-siberia-v2-heat-orange

Steelseries 7H, http://steelseries.com/products/audio/steelseries-7h-usb

Steelseries 9H, http://steelseries.com/products/audio/steelseries-9h

Sennheiser HD558(which can be found on amazon for a 120$).  http://en-de.sennheiser.com/audio-headphones-high-end-hd-558

My question is which one of them is best, which one of them is most comfortable, which one of them has best ratio of Paid-Get,are they as good for music like they are for games, what sound card do you recommend with any of them, and do you have any more good suggestions( Considering I wouldn't spend over 180$ on headphones or 130 on headphones(Modmic is 50$ then)).

Thank you for your respond!!!

I own the steelseries siberia and theyre great. Mic took nothing to set up. Sound is awesome. Very comfortable and the headband was the big seller for me.

But what do you think about "gaming features" of others like wirelessness, volume control, closed back ect.

Open-back headphones generally have better soundstage and positioning. Sounds pretty "gaming" to me. Cheap wireless implementations are usually bad for audio quality due to compression, interference, etc.

In summary, real headphones will provide better audio quality and comfort.

This is the Audio subforum, not the Features subforum.  ;)
