So, as part of my ongoing trouble with my computer randomly locking up, I had to reset the bios to default and redo my overclock. Problem is, a week ago, it could pass an 8 hour Aida64 test at 4.4ghz with 1.27 volts vcore. Now, however, attempting a stress test on that same overclock causes the system to immediately lock up and bluescreen with a clock_watchdog_error. Did I forget to change a setting somewhere, or is something wrong?

You're and your are not the same. Neither are their, there, and they're. Defiantly and Definitely are definitely not the same. Definately and Rediculous are not words, and you should feel bad for misspelling them. If English is your first language, you don't have a learning disorder, and you get any of these wrong, you are making the entire forum slightly dumber by doing so. Please take the extra three seconds to type properly, and have a nice day.

i got something similar on my GPU overclock, i had been running a smaller 150+ on core and mem for weeks, then i wanted to see how far i could go, when i got to the limit and it crashed i went back but nothing was really stable and i got kinda static interference lines on my monitors at times, and i got it even on lower OC's than i had been running for weeks before :/

I haven't pushed anything, just brought it back to a previously rock-solid 4.4 from stock.

intel CPUs normally shouldn't suffer from degradation below 1.35V, but the symptoms you are describing do seem to match up with what a degraded CPU behaves like... weird. Make sure you double check absolutely EVERYTHING in the BIOS. Your RAM for example could cause instability if you're running it at higher speeds than before. My 4670k is stable at 4.5GHz with the RAM set to 1333MHz, but will not go above 4.4GHz with the RAM set to 1600MHz.

It's actually set lower than before - it was at 1866 pre-problems, and it's at 1600 by default in the bios. I've never pushed it over 1.3 in the five months I've had the thing. Is this something that would be covered by the standard warranty, or would I have to get the tuner's warranty?
