Good day guys. I don't know where to put this kind of post but I pick the one that is near to the topic.

Anyway, my problem is that my coworker inserted his flash drive to a computer and it is now in write protect mode. The user of the computer told us that it has a malware. We've tried several solution like using diskpart in windows and I use the gparted software in linux, also tried some instructions found in the web but we can't find the solution. Have you experienced this kind of problem? Can you share some idea on what to do to solve this problem?

run chipgenius to identify the controller..

then go here usbdev.ru (russian site)

and find the manufactures tool to reset controller.

works in most cases, although data will be lost
