Crashes at game launch

Go to solution Solved by Booyah1555,

Is he overclocked in anyway? I would guess without knowing more that its a lack of power. When you start a game your GPU clocks up and pulls most of its current while loading things. So the fact it takes longer sometimes than others could just be down to the power draw the GPU needs.

hell no he basically just asked me what to buy tried to install it.  broke mobo a cpu cuz he's ignorant and replaced them

My friend's computer keeps crashing when games are started (there isn't even time for it to over heat it just crashes) it doesn't do this with every game but most.

Back Story!: cpu pins bent on installation requiring a replacement mobo and cpu.  It was fine for a few months and now... this.  I've tried a little diagnosing but figured since im leaving in a minute i may as well post this and wait for responses.

Also forgot to mention current condition: cpu fan seems to be working as well as all other fans.  cable management is decent... though again i don't think that's the problem.

Thank you!

Is it everygame or just certain ones in particular, if you dont know they get a few more games, just download 2 or 3 of the free games on steam to test it out.

maybe the cpu or gpu doesn't have enough voltage from factory. try to give it more and see if it works

                                                                                      wow... pretty empty here...
