Massdrop top UK

Hey guys,

Just wondering if any of you guys have used Massdrop in the UK.

There is a Cold Steel knife I have my eye on and I was wondering about import charges;

1. Will there be any?

2. If so will it be a lot?

3. How would I pay it?

I have, its great.
1: No, IF for whatever reason there is, you pay when you go and pick up the package.
2: Dont know how it is in the UK but in Sweden its 25% of the ....total cost? eh yeah something like that.

1) Yes. I got import on my earphone for about the same price.

2) Use this to calc. On top of the price there, expect to pay a little more. I usually get import tax + handling, which is an extra ~£8.

3) I 9 times out of 10 get a Royal Mail "we couldn't deilver for X" through the door. Then you take that to the depo, pay and get the item. Bit of a hassle.

 Had one where the emailed me about it, but be careful as I also recieve lots of spam about "hey pay import on that thing you got!", was very suspicious till the tracking numbers matched up.

you can commit, then you pay only the cheapest price, if it does not reach that point nothing happens and the deals is over, or they will ask if you want it anyway at the current stage its at...

Or you can buy right away, and i think you will have to pay right away and wait forever till it comes (2-3 weeks AFTER the Drop is done and the deal is confirmed)

Really? you got Taxed ? i bought my DT 990 600 omh prem headphones and didnt pay import. maybe you were unlucky or i was lucky? 

 

I get a text on my phone when i have a package to pick up. but yeah...Sweden.
