Displayport is able to run 4k 60hz over display port - yes...

How many gigs are your cards?
You need a somewhat high buffer to run such a high resolution - the reason to why the titan is an ideal card for 4k

In terms of raw power, you should have plenty - just don't think you can crank the graphics all the way up on ultra in every game you play ;)

Everyone have a cool signature. I don't, so I thought I would write something.

- Cool right?

If you have the 2GB models you will get terrible fps due to bottlenecking.

Spoiler

yeah, 2gb's are certainly not enough - Not sure if lowering the texture quality will be enough - It's your money, so you should figure out if it's worth for ya... If your gonna upgrade to gtx880's, and only then can really take advantage of a 4k display.. Maybe you just wonna wait all together, and see what happens with 4k display pricing - you might save a bunch :)

well this sucks , I dont want to buy 780 Ti´s when the 880gtx is announced ...

maybe the smart option would be to wait until october?

damn being on 2560x1600 sucks ... Watch_Dogs from Ubishit is already micro stuttering on medium textures.

my ``work pc (R9 280x and i5 4670k)´´ is handling it better then my Dual 680´s

It wasn't

Rumors have it though that the 800 series have been delayed until 2015 - don't know how much there is to this rumour though :S

Of course it will come, but there is no word about when. People have said "It will be out in 3 months" for about a year now.

It's not that powerful, and 2 680s would only have 2 GB of vRAM. If doesn't stack.

Hmm okay. You might be waiting awhile for NVIDIA GTX 800 series. But if you're patient then that's good because you're gonna need that patience.
