Okay, so I have a few questions about NIC teaming, and RAID

Should I even bother with RAID? I just want one big block of storage and thats it. I want to be able to add and remove drives too. I will be backing up important data weekly anyway (About 10gb) the rest of the data is just media.

Fastest way to share out everything? is worrying about NIC teaming worth it? and is there any other spec changes you would recommend. The SSD will store the OS and some VM's

with teaming you can only use one port with one download/upload. you can't push 2gbit/s from one pc to a 2nd even if every pc would use teaming. But you can copy 2 different files each with 1gbit/s at the same time. so teaming is useless, unless many people use the same homeserver alot.

your Server is quite powerfull, what do you plan to do with that? just as a nas a i3 and 4gb ram would be fine. If you want to be safe you have to backup aur raid with a 2nd. raid :D and if you think that is really crazy maybe go Raid 6 with a raidcard. but thats expensive to.

storing alot of data with a backup is really expensive. Maybe backup to a cloud service
