Looking at getting a 290

I've been upgrading my computer slowly over the last several months, and next on the list is the GPU.  I'm 99% sure I want the Sapphire Vapor-X R9 290 4GB.  My only question is whether there is any indication at all whether either Nvidia or AMD have any price reductions coming in the next month or so?  If not, then I'll pull the trigger by tomorrow, as I can save an extra $15 bucks on Newegg for their Father's Day Promo.  Thanks for any comments/answers.

I read that AMD will release the 370 in fall and then the 380 and 390 during the winter.....but that were just rumors.

 

Don't know about NVIDIA.
