Hi,

Last few days, i had a warning from window that my drive has some error hence i went to do a S.M.A.R.T check and found out that the spin retry count was at 45 rather that above 60, this continue till today i went back to check, it went back up to 90.

May i know what happen to my hdd? Should i replace it?

Have a look at Wikipedia's article on S.M.A.R.T., it has a

table with most of the common attributes. (link)

According to that, your HDD could indeed be failing.

Count of retry of spin start attempts. This attribute stores a total count of the spin start attempts to reach the fully operational speed (under the condition that the first attempt was unsuccessful). An increase of this attribute value is a sign of problems in the hard disk mechanical subsystem.
