Well... I remembered that I put a GTX 650 with it and it was nice... Games at full on that PC (well... resolution was 1366x768 :P)

Now the most similar GPU you can get is the GTX 750 (or R7 260(X)<-may need PCIe power connector), doesn't require PCIe connector BTW...

alright but i have battlefield 3 and 4 as well as some pro evolution soccer 2012 left 4 dead 2 , minecraft but battle field 4 is my most graphics intensive game i have is there one that can handle battle field 4 in specifically ?

You've to execute it. Just (again, I'll always insist on this, you'd brick if not): check that's GA-EP35-DS3L

But if you're running a E3200 then your BIOS is F6 already... so a E8400 will run on that.

Download CPU-z and check motherboard/mainboard tab for BIOS version.

If it's F6 you don't need BIOS update for E8400 :)

E8400+GTX 750/R7 260X can handle all that (can't confirm BF4 (I don't own it)) but another factor is resolution, what are your plans for that?

damn it lol keep forgetting to quote xD but yeah thanks i will download cpu-z as soon as windows 7 is installed :D

I've 64 bit on 4 GB... but for gaming it'll conflict so if you want to take advantage of 64 bit but keep good gaming 6 GB is enough. But both options (4-32 and 6-64) may have problems with BF4 (I can't confirm this... you'll need members that tried that game :()

my gfx card is not doing the whole tdr video thing do you know anything about that ?

Hmm... I don't think it's that...

1st of all... when did this start and what were you doing?

2- what PSU and how old?

(don't worry, if you stay in this forum you'll keep quoting :P)

not that old actually and this has been happening with this specific gpu for a while now and its getting rather quite annoying i've re done the thermal pads and thermal paste so thats not the issue so its a software issue

Overheats? (also check the back PCB where the chipset is, to grant that the thermal pad works, but with dry hands and without metalic objects :P)

Is the heatsink properly screwed?

Can you check all its clocks?

let me install cpu z to monitor the temps and clocks of everything okay i'll reply back in a bit

Well... if it's only that GPU, it may be broken... don't you have a spare one to confirm this?

well yeah the other graphics card works just fine its just this one i replaced the thermal pads and thermal paste i just need to reflash the bios to a new or same bios but idk how
