Hello people.

Im at the end of my rope with this issue and i was wondering if ANYONE would have encountered/has solved this problem regarding this particular beep code. 1 long 2 short.  (Graphics related i suppose)

Okay heres the problem, my computer wouldnt start. (beepcode) and it would only start if i remove the (powered) AMD 6770 graphics card.
Also it doesnt start if there is NO graphics card slotted in.

Here is where it gets weird. It only starts up and acts as if everything is normal if i slot in my old (UN-powered) Nvidia GT545 graphics card.
Ive tried changing the psu, checking the card to see if it works, but i am unable to find a solution.

I am at a loss in regards to my next course of action..Buy a new computer? Buy a new graphics card?

Please help me !!!
Many thanks in advance!

what motherboard are you using?

what kind of memory

beep codes that stop the bios from going thru are usually limited to things such as, memory not inserted correctly, cpu fan not plugged in, cpu not seated correctly. and sometimes just sometimes somthing plugged into a card reader like an SD card, or a broken USB that is causing a short.

So please post complete pc specs

Please Quote so i know you have replied. | If we have provided a solution to your problem mark it with answer found.

And also please read the COC and avoid the embarrassment and lecture that will ensue.

This. Today i was having some issues with a new Hard drive for my media server, and my PC would not post. It turned out, there was a broken SD Card in my card reader straight up preventing me from posting.
