I have seen a few threads a few pages back but i wanted to see about building something (Get it, like the show.....no?) that for the followers who are actually enjoying it thus far, can discuss/ theorize or just talk about happenings in the series to date.

Personally i think the show is catering to a certain 'type' of audience, i just find it annoying that people currently are basing their reviews on stupid stuff like 'This drama isn't happening here" or "This concept is getting really boring" etc etc.

I have just finished up reading Steve Jobs' Biography and personally i think the show is doing a great 'fictitious' re-telling of how the PC industry was at the time.

Highlights so far:

-Splitting the show into centric parts (Joe focusing on aesthetics, ideas, business deals and pushing the boundaries of what a PC should do compared to IBM)
-Gordon being Wozniak-like (In making Hardware applicable to the needs required)
-Cameron just being an edgy coder,  and generally being super hot.
-"2x the speed, 1/2 the price"
-Acknowledging actual hardware/PC terminology without being super geeky
-Using real-life companies in reference to challenges they face (Manufacturing limitations with mobos/ silicon etc etc)
- Breaking the barriers of what a PC could be according to the viewpoint of the user....(Eg. Resolution is not just a number!)

I think so far the show is doing pretty well, such a Pirates of Silicon Valley feel to it, i hope it doesn't get cancelled after one season though. Waiting per week for each episode is as bad as what GoT has been. :(

What does LTT think of it so far?
