Mointor Problems

This is what my monitor looks like.

It cuts off the left hand side. Its a VGA connection from my laptop using intel hd 4000 graphics and and Asus monitor. I do not have any other connectors to try at the moment. Thank you for your help.

Are you using Intel's GMA or a video card?

Try redoing the connections with the VGA cable. Though I don't think a loose cable can cause this, only off colors or no signal at all.

Im using intel HD 4000 integrated graphics. On a ultrabook.

Have tired restarting computer and retrying connections

Then there should be an option under the advance settings in when you open the driver software for you to shift the image on your monitor.

thats ur image probably not set properly...use monitor image adjustment buttons...
