Unable to start task manager? Even as admin?

Hi all, my laptop spontaneously shut down today and later i tried to start task manager to end a few programs, but now, anytime I open it, it just closes.  I tried running as an admin but it closes still.  I run windows 7, but any help you can spare would be great.

 

PC:  Asus K53E    Camera:   Nikon D3100

Did you get a virus? Can you do a scan?

My norton ran out 2 days ago and I haven't had a chance to get a new copy...

DOnt use norton...it sucks.

Use Avast or AVG (both free) and malware bytes
