He wanted 27" monitors.

Oops. I would'nt suggest getting 27" monitors in 1080p. They look TERRIBLE!

So i am sticking with my suggestion with 24".

Watercooling really isn't necessary. Unless you need a huge e-peen, cooling it by air should be fine. I do not recommend playing on a TN monitor, so I left around $570 for you to pick an IPS monitor, heck why not even jump up to 4K?

I tried to keep the colour scheme as close to a black/blue style. The PSU, once the HXi series is release, swap it out for one that is 850W+. Storage could be improved, but like before, it's really up to you. If you still want to go with 144Hz, definitely go with the new Asus ROG 27" monitor. It is absolutely amazing.

I feel the same, and I like your build, I'd get your over mine but I wanted to give him the option.

hmm. I play 24" 1200p U2412M but I still feel that I'd like 1440p, so I don't get 27" 1080p.

Maybe you like it more because of the size, not because of the image quality.

Thanks for all the suggestions guys, but just a question: how well does CF 290s stack up against SLI 780s, let's say on H4X3R's suggested monitors BenQ XL2411Z (x3).

Thanks again for the suggestions!

R9 290 performes around the same as GTX 780, maybe better sometimes, but you are running three monitors on two so I would so you should get 60 fps at ULTRA settings in BF4 32 players. (if you are playing tripple monitor, If you play on only 1 in the game you should get 160 fps+!
