how fast (rpm) is the wd elements 2TB or 3TB external usb 3.0 hdd

 

and how many platters do each of these two versions have and what is the reliability because im scared it may break

I think they have WD Greens installed in them, so they have 3 or 4 platters.

WD Greens run at closer 5,400 RPM but WD said that it runs in between 5,400-7,200

It would certainly help to be USB 3 but it isn't required

ok well now if you guys know im just trying to learn what is a really good hdd enclosure i can buy and a really good hdd i can buy because i want 7200 rpm
