How often do new CPU generations come out? I plan on buying a 4th generation CPU but I have to wait about 4-5 months to do so, when will the new generation CPU come out for Intel, should I wait for the new generation or should I buy the current one (4th generation Haswell) ???

If you have to wait 4-5 months you might as well wait for Skylake or go straight to Broadwell. What do you need this for exactly and how expensive of a processor are you going for?

You gotta do you girl. I always say you gotta do you. And if he's doing him, then who's doing you? Because right now, it seems like no one's doing you.

I'd wait for either Skylake or Broadwell.

Well thanks to everyone for replying this fast and not calling me names  :D , I will probably go for the Haswell because it seem like  the newer ones will not be very different from the current gen. Skylake will be launched as a locked CPU and I will probably overclock and it will be more expensive so NO to that, Broadwell will not be very different and the things that will be different with it don't matter to me too much so Haswell it is  :) .

Skylake (K) will be released around the time Broadwell-E is released, if your gonna upgrade go to skylake or the haswell refresh as skylake will require a new mobo which sould be z107.
