Hello,

Apologies, as this may be a very noobish question and this is something I should really know anyway, but it's been bugging me and it may be causing my PC issues.

Right. Recently I have been getting issues regarding games, such as blue/red screen lock ups, executables crashing and games not running correctly. I'm about to re install W8.1 (for that reason and as a fresh start), however, (and this may really be a thick question) I'm not sure if I should install both the AMD CCC suite and the 14.6 beta or X driver which is listed at the bottom of the CCC suite. Am I right in thinking that the CCC package also contains the most up-to-date driver, meaning that I shouldn't need to download anything else from AMD's website? I always thought that the CCC suite is just a user's GUI interface so we can tinker with the settings, and that I should additionally install the driver underneath as well.

I installed a while back, the CCC suite 14.4 and the 14.6 driver (thinking the 14.6 driver is the actual driver, and the CCC is the user control panel). Have I bollocked it up completely?

Thanks,

Nick

Thanks for the reply. So if I wish to install the 14.6 beta only, then I don't have to bother with the CCC package? Also, if I want to use the stable drivers, the CCC package will include them to? I'm happy to use the beta driver, although apparently State of Decay has very bad graphical glitches with it so I would prefer to stick with stable if it removes that problem.

Thanks :)
