Wired connection problem.

Every so often i loose internet connection for like 30 seconds or so, i have a wired connection and this only started happening a week or so ago. When it disconnects i check the connection on my phone and its fine so its not the actual internet turning off i have checked all wires and everything is plugged in properly etc, does anybody know what the problem could be?
