Razer product categories.

I have a friend whom is a Razer fan who is looking to getting a new headset. I was helping him decide when I noticed that razer has a lot of products that feel the same category (e.g. Kraken Pro, Blackshark, Carcharias, and Tiamat 2.2). I understand that there is some slight variation between each product, but why so many products that fill the same category? Brands like Logitech and Steelseries only have one or two series of headsets that fill distinct categories.

different uses and different features.   like their set that can PC and Xbox 360. or their wireless 5.1 set.

 

 

Diversity in product lines makes more profit.  you have more to offer potential customers by giving them more options they may like.
